She even dominates kaka in some of the scenes. Helen gets an opportunity to act & she has done well. The film has an interesting storyline with some solid performances. The two arrive and see Natasha sitting in a chair. Mere Jeevan Saathi will surely be remembered for 1 thing - the magic of the kaka-RD-Kishore trio. When Anjali returns to Vicky, Natasha calls the couple to her home. Anjali admits that while she cannot kill others, she would kill herself for him. Natasha threatens Anjali, saying that she will go to any length for Vicky – even kill.
The two women meet and Anjali gently explains that Vicky has always loved her and never Natasha.
Anjali then insists on meeting with Natasha. Although hurt, she is not angry at him as he has punished himself enough. Overwhelmed with guilt, he confesses the truth to Anjali. Vicky realizes that Natasha's obsession of him has become dangerous. Natasha's father had warned her that her love for Vicky can never be, as Vicky loved Anjali, but she refused to listen. Natasha knew Vicky in college and harboured a deep infatuation for him. Natasha helps Vicky become a star, however, Vicky is unaware of Natasha's hidden motives. In Canada, he meets the owner of the company, Natasha (Karisma Kapoor). He gets a big offer from a music company in America and accepts it. Harish gave him a piece of his mind and declined the offer.Vicky (Akshay Kumar) is an aspiring singer who is devoted to his true love, Anjali (Amisha Patel). A few months later Manoj feeling guilty sent a offer to act in Harish Shah's future film. Manoj had bought the tickets and now selling it at a bad rate. Manoj did not want competition from a Rajesh Khanna film. Upon further asking he found out it was Manoj Kumar who was playing this game.
They told Harish they were paid to do this. Harish asked them why they were doing this to sabotage his film. This way the collections of Mere Jeevan Saathi would be low. On the weekend Mere Jeevan Saathi released ,Harish went to visit Apsara theatre and saw the entire tickets were bought and now being sold for a cheaper low rate of rupees 25 by the black ticket scalper boys. The distributor agreed to give Harish the Bombay theatre Apsara to release his film provided he not release the film with Shor and release it the following week. The distributor pleaded with Harish to delay his film Mere Jeevan Sathi and not release it with Shor. Producer Harish Shah thrashed Manoj Kumar in his book.
